Text Box: Training will be conducted in a functioning recording studio located at 512 Franklin Street in Waukegan, Illinois.  Classes are held on Sunday evening starting at 6pm and ending no later than 8 pm.  The course instructor has had over 22 years experience as an audio engineer.

Training will cover these topics and more:

 

The operation of consoles/control board, microphone designs / selection / techniques and types, tape machines, sound acoustics, phasing, electronic keyboards / MIDI / SMPTE / sequencing / sound generation, noise reduction, computer recording software / linear and non-linear recording / editing,  frequency, patch bays, signal processors, analog vs. digital, basic computer skills, mixing, mastering, song composition and music theory.
 

At the end of successful training, you may be offered a position at our studio (at our discretion / no obligation)
